Start your new online business today

Learn the ways in which you can use the WRKON platform as your business back-end.

Launching a new online business can be both simple and frustrating at the same time. With the huge range of new technologies and platforms, one can easily get lost in so many options.

In this section we will explain the process of how you can use the WRKON platform as a back-end for your brand new online business.

Let’s first select a niche in which we plan to start our new online business:

  • Consulting
  • Support
  • Analytics
  • IT & Networking
  • Marketing & Advertising
  • Translation
  • Web/Mobile App Development
  • Writing & Editing

Let’s say you want to start a new business in the Marketing & Advertising niche and are planning to sell this service, for example:

  • Explainer videos

Let’s suppose you already have your shiny new website set up, now who’s going to serve your new clients which will be coming soon?

You will need skilled people who can do the work for you, in this case:

  • Video Editors
  • Graphic designers
  • Copywriters
  • Subtitlers/Captioners
  • Voice Over actors

Now let’s get into the part of how you’re going to acquire these talented people.

Step 1: Create test tasks

You will need to create a new Candidate List and create at least 5 test jobs for each skill category you’re going to need: Video Editors, Designers, Copywriters, Subtitlers, Voice Over actors. You will personally need to possess at least some experience in these business operations to be able to create these test tasks.

Step 2: Share your WRKON URL

You will need to share your WRKON generated URL of your Candidate List with your test tasks in forums, social media, freelance websites, every place where these talents can be found.

Step 3: Rate and rank talents

Review the results of your test tasks, skills, and qualifications of the candidates who applied. If you successfully sourced suitable talents, you can then proceed to create a Talent List for each category: Video Editors, Designers, Copywriters, Subtitlers, and Voice Over actors.

Step 4: Allocate job assignments

Now that you already have suitably skilled people in your Talent Lists, you can now begin sending out your paid job assignments.

Step 5: Manage your process

The WRKON platform is not a management tool. You will therefore need to plan and manage the work processes yourself or acquire someone to manage it on your behalf.
